Davenport, IA – Update: Larita Hoeck Fatally Hit by Pickup on Locust St
Davenport, IA (October 13, 2021) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed in a pedestrian crash in Davenport on Thursday, October 7.
The accident took place at the crossing of Locust Street and Lincoln Avenue. Emergency responders were sent to the scene at around 5 p.m. Local reports revealed that 60-year-old Larita Hoeck of Davenport was traveling westbound at the crosswalk at the time of impact.
Hoeck was then struck by an eastbound pickup truck. She was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and pronounced deceased on Monday, October 11. No further updates have been provided at this time.
