Clive, IA – Woman Injured in Collision with Box Truck at 111th St & Hickman Rd
Clive, IA (July 21, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash in the Cline area involving a box truck ended in injuries on Tuesday, July 20.
The accident was reported early that morning at around 8:36 a.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of 111th Street and Hickman Road. Local reports indicated that a box truck was making a left-hand turn near the entrance of Living History Farms at the time of the impact.
It was then that the truck was hit by a Buick Rendezvous. The female driver of the SUV was trapped inside following the crash and had to be extricated by responding personnel. She was transported to Methodist Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The area was closed for several hours following the crash.
